We had an amazing stay at this hidden gem. The location provides stunning views of the valley and river. The room was comfortable, with a large and cozy bed. The staff went above and beyond to help us, offering great service and delicious food. The breakfast had everything we needed and the facilities were excellent. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool and sipping on their fine port wine while watching the sunset.
The challenging drive to and from the hotel, with narrow hairpin bends and steep drop-offs.

We had an incredible 5-night stay at Quinta da Marka. the views over the valley and river were stunning, and the room and bathroom were really nice. the bed was large and very comfortable. the pool area was a great place to relax, with sunbeds and a perfect water temperature for cooling down. the large terrace was a highlight, where we enjoyed the fine port wines of Quinta do Noval while watching the sunset and stars. the breakfast had everything you need to start the day, and the dinner options were delicious and inexpensive. the manager, Angela, provided excellent recommendations for activities, places to eat, and visits to nearby quintas for wine tastings. If you're planning a vacation in the Douro area, Quinta da Marka is the place to go.
It felt almost like being at home, as there was nothing to complain about.

The room was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed.
The breakfast menu could use a bit more variety, but everything else more than made up for it.

They even waived the fee when I had to leave a day earlier. The restaurant served delicious food at reasonable prices, and dining there every night was a special experience.
